Great films and books are essential for an active 21st Century mind, but great friends and pets are way better for walks. Take lots of walks, I say, and get thee to the countryside right outside Petaluma...so, so pretty...And then actually helping others out is what makes you grounded, being part of the local/global tribe of your choice. They still need members, you know.

We've got candidates! We've got issues! Water rate rollback that could spell disaster for the city's finances, best uses for our precious land, how to adequately fund the city, education, calm traffic, conquer pollution 'n on and on and on. Local, regional, national, global! And don't forget our diverse neighbors...
